  • Public skate days are where it's at! If you're not associated with Ryerson. Or are too cold to skate outside. Hey! I was meaning to but it got too cold and the schedules weren't conducive to it. It might get busy but not crowded. I imagine this can change once this becomes a popular venue. The ice is neatly maintained. Some people leave their stuff in the bench area but when you go alone, it becomes too risky to leave your purse behind. So, I carry a lumpy purse and a heavy coat. The temperature is maintained, so ideally, you can drop a heavy layer. After all, you will sweat! No sharpening services.
