This was my second time on the high roller. I originally went the first week it was open. This time I toook 4 people. We had the open bar. The staff was very accommodating. We were able to skip the line. Pretty cool.
I'm not afraid of heights per say. I get nervous when I'm high up in open air. The high roller has pods that fit about 30 people inside. There 100% inclosed. If this wheel was open I would not be able to go on due to my nervous mess.
The alcohol. We had the open bar. For the most part. The liquor was standard. They had Malibu rum captain Morgan rum. Absolute and stoli vodka. For beer they had Budweiser and Heineken. For wine they had Kendall Jackson. They had angry orchard cider too. We each had about 4 drinks a peice. Not bad.
The views. When I'm in Vegas my hotel room always has a view of the bellagio fountians. So for me. I am used to good views in Vegas day or night. But. If you want a good view of the Vegas strip. The high roller is your best bet. Instead of spending $500-$1000 a night.
Overall. Everyone I was with was impressed with the high roller. I would say the open bar is the way to go! I'll prob be back here with people who want the expreience.
