| - Smart Gym is not truthful and does NOT operate with any sense of integrity. I signed up first of June 2017. I will admit the "salesperson" was more the used car sales guy. He wanted me to sign a 12 month contract, I told him I am only interested in 3 months. He explained I could have 3 trainings a week for $360 per month. I wish I would have read the fine print as it turns out, I am on the hook for 6 months. My fault. Here's the worst part, I went through 4 trainers in less than a month. Each one, we had to start over again. The new trainer (s) would ask each time, " What is your goal"? It was so frustrating, I stopped going. I figured they got me for 3 months. So, in August, I get a call from a trainer wanting me to get back in the gym. I agreed, because he said they had a new management team and new trainers, and I could vatch up my traininh, blah, blah. I asked to meet him at 4pm (after work), we'll he was unable to do that time and would call me back with his schedule. I didn't hear from him, so I called. He is no longer there. Feeling fed up, I went in and asked for a manager, and a nice lady said she could help. I told her everything. I explained that I wanted to discontinue my membership and expected a refund for unused training. She explained that she would send this to corporate and they would get back to me. Yeah, we'll, that never happened, so I called looking for her tonight. Guess what? Gone.... Don't make the same mistake I did.
