I was in downtown Phoenix, it was mid-day and I was a little hungry. Noticing a sign for the Cornish Pasty Company, I decided to see what they had to offer. This rustic pub /restaurant had both upstairs and downstairs seating. Friendly wait staff and interesting and extensive menu. Lots of Pasty options.
I like beer and I am an avid coffee drinker .... so, it is no surprise that I needed to try the coffee infused beer. It was cool and refreshing on a hot day in Phoenix - surprisingly tasty. To compliment my beer, I ordered a pasty called the Pilgrim. I was delicious - small pie loaded with roasted turkey, grilled onions, stuffing and sweet potatoes. This came with a dipping sauce of red wine gravy and cranberries.
Good food, great atmosphere, helpful staff and competitively priced.
