  • If you're looking for a friendly, clean, welcoming place to stay in Toronto for a reasonable price, this is your place. The location is perfect for exploring the city. Canadiana is right down the street from great places to eat, downtown tourist attractions (CN Tower, Kensington Market, China Town, Clubs, St. Lawrence Market, the harbor and Lake Ontario). Friendly faces greet you when you walk in the doors to check in. Chalkboards are filled with opportunities to go on trips guided by Canadiana Backpacker rockstars (sight seeing, pub crawls, white water rafting, tours, ect) including discounts to those attractions! When you wake up, there are freshly made pancakes and coffee waiting for you to grab a ceramic plate and enjoy at a community table. You'll meet travelers from all over the world and make new friends. If you're looking for a quiet place to eat, there is a place for that too. Cozy couches and if there is nice weather, you can grab a seat on the back deck. In the warmer months, the deck is a great place to grill or have a drink with new friends. If you're into cooking your own food, there is a kitchen available. Stay connected to your work/home/life outside of Toronto with their reliable wifi. This is one of the cleanest hostels I've ever stayed. I've never had to ask for a bathroom to be cleaned, they're on it! Honestly, I'm so impressed with this place. We always book a bed if we're heading to Toronto. You'll always leave with a story that will make you smile and think fondly of this place. Cheers!
