  • I'll start by saying this is my first Yelp review ever & I have never felt so disrespected, disregarded, & blown off by a staff. I call them on Black Friday because I'm wanting to purchase a car stereo on sale from another retailer and want to know if they can install it for me. I talk to Jesse. He puts me on hold for a minute dealing with a walk in customer, I give him the make, model & year of my car and the specific stereo I am purchasing. He says its busy and he'll call back in a few minutes. He does, says he'll have to order an install kit but it should be in by the next Friday, December 2nd, so we make an appointment for installation. I arrive on time for the install & meet Carlos. I tell him what I'm there for. He offers to buy me a Coke, friendly gesture. I take a seat. A few minutes later a staff member tells me the install kit is not in house. Ok, kind of discouraging, but let's order it & get moving. I wait another 40 minutes while Carlos & two other staff members work the phones. Tired & now a little cranky I tell one staff (can't remember his name & I've since thrown out his card) that I'll just come back for installation, give me a call when to come back. He tells me matter-of-factly "no, you're not leaving until you pay for it." This should have been my first red flag. Ten minutes later I'm told by Carlos the install kit has been found but unfortunately it's being drop shipped from California, wont arrive for a few days & I'm not being charged anything today. Being a laid back guy I say no problem, when can I get this done. We agree on Wednesday the 7th. I arrive on Wednesday the 7th when they opened, as agreed upon. I'm told by the rude staff member that the install kit hasn't arrived, it's being shipped from FLORIDA (remember, it was California before) and it will take some time. He insures me they will call when it arrives. It's now been a month & a half. Guess they're walking it from Florida. All snark aside I never felt my business was wanted by this company. Most of the reason I chose this place was not just because of the positive reviews here on Yelp, but that the owner communicated in a professional way with those that gave a bad review. That seemed pretty stand-up to me. It's too bad that hasn't occurred in this case.
