  • Took the family to a different place to get a tree before going to Home Depot...what a mistake! The place we stopped at first was not very friendly, was muddy and had puddles of water everywhere which ruined my new shoes and my poor two year old tripped and got hurt and all muddy. They weren't clear about pricing and ended up wanting $80 for an okay looking tree that was less than 6ft tall. It was a bust. From now on we are sticking with Home Depot. They were very helpful and didn't mind opening a few trees for us to look at. Prices are MUCH more reasonable and they had a better selection than the other place AND we got a tree so fresh it still had snow on it!!! The kids were happy and the tree after almost two weeks is still very fresh. We are very happy and will be back again next year. Thank you Home Depot for having such great employees out in the lot and for making buying a Christmas tree easy, enjoyable and affordable.
