  • Alisa is exactly the kind of seamstress you hope for when you are preparing for your wedding day. I can't say enough about her professionalism and skill. I had a vintage style dress that felt easily 3 sizes too large for me. I was a bit nervous that it would not be able to be taken in enough to fit my short frame and retain its look. The dress was also covered is beautiful lace that I couldn't bear seeing ruined through too many alterations. Alisa was able to alter the dress so that it felt like it was made exactly for my frame which was no small feat. Throughout the whole process, she was punctual and professional, but also warm and friendly and helped put me at ease. She has also made valuable suggestions for accessories, including repurposing a belt we took off the dress into a bridal headband and veil. I suggest Alisa's services to any bride, be it alterations or a custom gown. Her expertise has been invaluable to me and has made the dress alteration process a stress free, enjoyable experience.
