| - So if you're intoxicated and desperately craving some chips or ice cream, or you really need some cereal because you have no more breakfast food left, this place is okay.
However the prices are RIDICULOUS. I was going to get one bell pepper, which was relatively small and had been wrapped in saran wrap. The sign said $1.99 per pound, pretty reasonable. Yet somehow, this one bell pepper (that was nowhere near a pound) rang up as $2.05......? I was going to buy a jar of tostitos queso dip as well, because who doesn't love queso? And normally, that stuff lasts forever. Not at G's. I wish I had taken a picture, but my camera wasn't working, however the jar had literally expired three months prior to me almost purchasing it.
If you need the convenience for location and hours, go right ahead--make sure you triple check expiry dates and be aware that for produce you're probably going to get ripped off. You might as well walk the few blocks and just west to the Metro, slightly better prices and way better customer service.
