  • I hate to say it but you get what you pay for here. I needed a last minute appointment so I figured I'd give it a shot as I'm new to the area. I needed a highlight retouch and cut. I explained exactly what I needed and the two (very nice and personable) students seemed to know what to do. I started to get nervous when the more experienced student said not to put the highlight right at the root (mind you I have this done about ever 8 weeks). After about 2 hours she called over her instructor in a panic, as I heard them say well she can come back we don't have time to fix this now. I now half part orange/part white chunk highlights (I asked for very thin natural look) that still show my horrible roots. Where the white streaks are burned my hair so bad I have the stick ups (burnt broken hair). The cut wasn't thinned out as I asked (was supposed to be an a line) but I wasn't shown the back. I decided to look when I got home and wow...it's all over the place. I know I will need to go to another salon to have this fixed but I know my hair needs a minute to regain some moisture from the over-processing that was done:(.
