I've been lucky to have a daughter cut my hair for the past 13 years. But she quit the business recently, opened up a cross fit gym and I was lost to where to go. I have referrals to different places but they were too far (and frankly, I wasn't impressed with their cuts:). So I visited Yelp to help me out on this search. The reviews here at Salon Blissful were what convinced me to try them. It took me weeks to decide on a hair style fit for my thick coarse wavy hair. Then it took me days to get the nerve to call for an appointment. Tashina was available at the right time. She's young, but she didn't balk at my hairstyle ideas. We discussed what I wanted (I brought a pic). And she washed, massaged my head and then the cut. She blew dry my hair. I never do that. I hate it straight and I look like a dork. In fact I must have a cut that I can wash, gel and go. Its longer on top and cut with shorter layers to side and back. And I love it. I gave the salon a five star because it was a cute little shop and the staff seemed to happy to be working there. And Tashina was a joy to talk to. Anyone that has to deal with my crazy poof of hair- (I'm serious, you can ask my daughter!) they deserves a five star!
