I was referred to Dr Falkner several years ago after a mass on an ovary appeared on an X-ray (X-ray for hip pain!). I liked her a lot. She was my surgeon to remove the remaining ovary. I felt very comfortable with her.
She said I could return for routine papsmears--which I did for a couple of years. About the time I became eligible for Medicare, of course my insurance changed.
I chose Aetna Medicare PPO after noticing she was a Network Provider. But despite my reminding the office of being an In-Network provider for my plan, I was no longer welcome as a patient. I haven't had a papsmear since! Sad when your insurance determines whether you are a welcome patient or not.
