My 2013 Chevy Malibu has 30,000 miles on it and the head gasket blew. I was shocked by this, however, no one at the service department was because apparently this is normal for Chevy. So I drop my car off for this to be fixed and did not hear a single word from anyone for 16 days. Finally, I called the service department on a Wednesday and was told it SHOULD be done by the FOLLOWING Tuesday. I didn't hear a word more until 5pm the following Thursday, 2 days after when I was told it SHOULD be done. Did anyone call me Tuesday to let me know it wouldn't be done? Nope. So I made a car payment in March for my car to just sit at North Star for 24 days. Yes, I had a loaner but still, TWENTY FOUR DAYS to fix a head gasket. Even if you had to wait for the part this is just unacceptable. Especially to not even call and update me. Who knows when I would have heard from you had I not called myself. Now that my warranty is up, I will be taking this vehicle to Rohrich Chevy for service.
