  • If you're visiting Montreal and have limited time between going to both Atwaters or Jean-Talon, save yourself one trip and go to the latter. I love how people say this market is surrounded by Little Italy-do they not realize that it's also more closely surrounded by a ton of Vietnamese place in the city? Anyways, the market is cash only. Lots of fruits from the area, a mushroom man who sells amazingly smelling dried porcini for $8, and there's an ATM machine on site. This is mostly a large farmers market sprinkled with prepared food places. I'd get little snacks here and eat somewhere else if you're looking for a lar
