  • How is it that I've lived in Scottsdale, Arizona since 1990 and thought I'd seen everything? In a word, the Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium ROCKS! We were having dinner with friends on July 3rd and telling them how disappointed we were after visiting the OdySea Aquarium on July 2nd. Save your money and visit the Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium. They have SO MUCH MORE to offer!!! In fact, forget the Phoenix Zoo, as the Wildlife World Zoo totally blows away the Phoenix Zoo! We visited the Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium yesterday. Since it was so hot outside, we were basically the only visitors which was fantastic! Imagine having a gigantic 215 acre zoo all to yourself? It was wild! We actually brought my 87 year old mother in her wheelchair and the heat didn't bother her as we had plenty of water with us plus a lot of the attractions are indoors or shaded. You will love this place. It's a great value as you get 4 attractions in one: 1) world class aquarium (only the Shedd in Chicago is better) 2) amazing zoo (only the San Diego Zoo is better) 3) Wildlife safari park 4) lots of fun rides, including my personal favorite ... The log flume ride! Who doesn't enjoy getting a little "wet & wild" on a hot summer day? We can't wait to return here. It's now my #1 place to take out of town guests. Followed by The MIM (musical instrument museum) I love Arizona.
