My boyfriend and I were in the mood for ramen after watching this random show on netflix (Samurai Gourmet). This place was recommended by a coworker. The restaurant itself is smaller but very clean. It does not come off as the traditional asian restaurant. The menu is a mix of Japanese and Italian. We tried the shoyu and takana ramen. Both were extremely delicious. The shoyu was a bit salty but not unexpected. We also tried a seaweed salad and tootsie roll. The seaweed salad was very good but had a garnish on it that did not blend well with the other flavors- it was very harsh and bitter. My boyfriend thought it could have been something in the radish family. The tootsie roll was also very good. The flavors were light and refreshing and blended well together. The eel sauce was drizzled nicely and not overused. The service was very fast and our waiter was great! We will definitely be coming back here.
