  • After a 3,500 mile / 2 week road trip with the family we decided to end of trip in Phoenix before finally heading home to Los Angeles. Initially, since we were staying at a resort that had a spa I was going to book a massage on property, however for some reason as my husband tends to tease me about I can never just make things easy or simple - LOL! After reading through countless review of multiple spas and massage practitioners Space by far had the most consistently stellar reviews. I, of course was extremely skeptical because despite the reviews it was still a leap of faith. From the moment I arrived until I left John was welcoming, intuitive, professional and is truly a talented practitioner. Unlike your traditional spa/massage appointment where your "hour" appointment is really just 45-50 minutes John spent the first 20 or so minutes talking with me, getting to know the issues I was having, massage preferences and allowing me to also become comfortable. It was then the hour long session began. It was perfect and so much for what he shared with me i.e.: posture, movement, not feeling in pain or getting a headache the following day all made sense as sadly as previously hose were my experiences with other places. I only hope my review inspires someone new to also try Space and experience how truly gifted John is. There is a reason he has such a following what people are saying is TRUE! Even though I live far away I look forward to booking another appointment when I am in town. In fact I will go so far as say I would come to town just to have a session with John. ENJOY!
