  • My husband and I had reservations for dinner at 7:00 to celebrate Valentine's Day and one of our last dinners together for awhile since we have a baby on the way in a few weeks and a five year old at home so these date nights don't come to often. We arrived at 6:45 and were not seated until 7:45, which I'm not upset about because I was expecting a long wait for a busy night. The restaurant was packed which is understandable for Valentine's Day weekend so when we were seated right beside the entrance and where everyone was gathered waited to be seated, mind you it was 4 degrees out that night, I asked if we could possibly wait for another table elsewhere. We were told "I assure you every table here is the same your food won't taste different elsewhere." So regretfully we sat there trying not to be a pain on such a busy night. Our whole dinner was interupred with people literally running right into our table or standing over top of us while they were waiting bumping into us the whole time or just staring at our every move, along with freezing when the door opened every few seconds. Our food was Cold bef ore it even made it into our mouths. We were told 6 times by different customers that they felt bad for where we were sitting. The food was good and our server was nice but finally having a night out and not even being able to hear eachother talk because of the large crowd next to us was very disappointing. It seemed like the servers only brought up the same 3 kinds of meat since we were in such a crowded hard to get area so when I asked for the bbq ribs on two different occasions they never came. I read on the review card to express your concerns before you leave the restaurant not in an email later so when I told the manager about our dinner he was distracted and simply said "sorry" and walked away. We paid the $120 For the nightmare dinner and went elsewhere to get dessert where we could be warm, hear eachother talk, and not be stared at the whole time. I then wrote an email to let them know about our experience since the manager did no seem concerned and my reply was that "for special occasions they rent extra tables and place them where they have room. We must of got one of those tables. Sorry about our experience and offered us 10% off our next meal." No thank you we will not be returning.
