  • I've been coming here just about every Saturday or Sunday for the last 7 months and I can honestly say that I have never been disappointed. Whether I chose one of the many specials, a bacon egg and cheese or just went with a shmear of cream cheese, everything has been phenomenal. Every bagel is as excellent as the last and each time I come here I love this place a little more. Everyone says New York bagels are the best but I think this place comes pretty close in comparison. On top of the delicious bagel sandwiches, I love the atmosphere that constantly has people coming through and a really entertaining staff behind the counter. I always end up sitting there and reading for an hour or so and consistently enjoy the ambiance that makes up Gotham bagels. I plan to continue coming just as frequently for the rest of my time in Madison.
