  • I wanted to get new brakes because my brakes were scrubbing. I knew by this time I may also need rotors as well. I went to brakes 4 less because I was in school and didn't really want to pay too much for brakes. The advertised price is a marketing tool. The guy up front quoted me almost $400 for brakes and rotors. He told me that I shouldn't continue to drive like that and they need to be fixed very soon. So I said okay and got them done. You have a warranty on the parts just in case anything goes wrong. They fixed my brakes and I had no more scrubbing. About a month later my brakes started squeaking. I went back and he had his technician take a look. They said they did not find anything and decided to drive it. When he drove it he said he couldn't hear it. I asked could I ride with him. We drove around the block and the squeaking was loud. The technician told me it was my brakes. I asked can they replace them bc I just got them done. He said all he had to do was warm them up. I said okay can you do that. He said he just did by driving my car around the block. I felt like they took me as a joke, maybe bc I'm a girl. I felt really played in that moment. I went home, throughout the week the squeaking became so loud. I went back the following week, when I pulled up he told me my car sounded like a bus. I asked him to please replace my brakes. He refused. He said that it's not my brakes it my caliber. Without even looking at it. I reminded him that his technician told me it was the brakes. He said all he could do is warm them up for me. I explained to him they did that last week and it's worse. He said all he can do is look at it but he wouldn't be able to do it today because he is booked. I came back the next week and he had the same answer. It's crazy that I spent almost $400 with them on some cheap brakes. I have a warranty but if they don't want to put in the work, they don't have to do it. They are a joke and I would NEVER recommend anyone to go there unless you have money to blow. I will never go back, ever!
