I'm cycling home on my usual route up Dovercourt north of Bloor and I notice people sitting in a space that has been in transition for a few years - coffee shop, take out but never really taking flight. I also notice the sign Dovercourt Village Pizza! I'd been wondering what to do for dinner...the thinking was over. I turned around and locked up. The setting is simple and informal with long tables and a combination of benches and chairs. The menu also simple with 18" or 14" whole pies or large slices for $5, a few salads, 5 local brews, a couple of "booze" choices and a house red & white. I ordered two slices: Thanks Obama and the vegan both delicious along with the kale Caesar and a tall boy oatmeal stout also $5. The food delicious, vibe easy and location filling a gap.
