  • I had the pleasure of swinging by Firefly for an early lunch yesterday. Based on the building and parking lot (which is private), they must get incredibly busy later in the day, but at 11:30, I was the 2nd table seated. I was seated right away and everyone was friendly. The service was great throughout. The waiter immediately brought bread and butter. The butter was honey and some type of pepper. I don't do bread, but it looked amazing and the sweet/spicy butter was great. The waiter recommended 2 items and they were exactly what I had my eye on! So I got the stuffed dates and Tierra y mar from the Hot Tapas menu. Both were awesome. The dates were almonds, dates and then bacon-wrapped and had a red wine reduction and blue cheese on top. The Tierra y Mar was grilled chorizo, shrimp and steak skewers with salsa. Delicious! I will definitely go back.
