So. I'm kind of a gym snob. With that being said- Lifetime and this location specifically is my favorite. I've been to basically every gym all over the valley. I actually moved to this specific area in North Scottsdale to be close to a Lifetime. I've been to the Gilbert and Tempe Life Time locations and fell in love. I'm now letting my remainder year of LA Fitness paid in full membership go to waste! This Lifetime is the Onyx which has more amenities than the Gold locations. Customer service is stellar. The petite blonde at the front desk who works morning shifts M-F (I get there at 5:00AM and she's always there) is very polite and knew me by name my third day. I was very impressed with that! She didn't even have my card yet so I know she didn't cheat and look at her screen with my name on it. Lol! The locker room area is always very clean and they have organic soaps and body washes along with razors, mouthwash etc. It is very convenient not having to carry wet bottles of shampoo/conditioners when you are done. They have a huge variety of equipment and all of the newest pieces. The actual set up is very functional as well. Even when it starts getting very busy you never have to wait as they have a lot of equipment. The spa is great, I've gotten a couple facials and they were the best I've had in awhile. I never have time to eat in the cafe but it seems to be pretty busy there, and smells delish! All in all, there was a lot of thought put into the setup of the Lifetime clubs, they are extremely functional for your typical professional individual who takes care of their health. Also, this location is in the process of remodeling, they already completed the new wood flooring upstairs and they are putting in new tile in the locker rooms. It really didn't need it but I'm not complaining! If you are someone who invests in the health and the gym is a big part of your life then it's a no brainer to spend a bit more to go to Lifetime.
