I am updating this review to add 2 stars because I received a call from the owner very shortly after my initial post went live. I really appreciate that she called me to talk things over and understand both sides of the story. That shows me that this company cares not only about the customer but about the business. Thank you for the call and the refund of the removal price.
I recently had an appointment for my first set of lashes and was really unhappy with the entire experience. I got a level 1 volume that was recommended by Kayla. My appointment was on a Saturday afternoon and on Sunday morning I have 4 or 5 clusters on my cheek that had fallen out over night from my right eye (I did sleep on my back and tried to be super careful to not touch them or get them wet as instructed). My own lash was not connected to extensions and I could visibly tell there was a difference in the darkness of my lash line between my left and right eye. I live 40 minutes away and was really unhappy that after just 1 day I was already having issues so when I called and explained everything I ended up just asking that they be removed. When I went back in and spoke to Kayla I explained that my lash was not connected and that I thought it wasn't right for them to be falling out so quickly. She did offer to add more to the right side but said it was normal shedding and you can lose a few a day. She also said she couldn't tell there was a difference between my eyes and I may just be being too critical... I didn't see a point in arguing or adding any if this was "normal" and just wanted them off. I was charged for the initial appointment and the removal ($125 + 20 tip, removal was 35- I asked for this to be waved for the inconvenience and was told no that unless like half fell out or I had a reaction nothing could be waived. So I asked if the 20% for the yelp review can be applied at the very least). I wont be returning or recommending this place to anyone. I felt ripped off.
