I always seen the commercials on TV and decided I would call them for a second opinion. I arrived for my appointment. I noticed many chairs and lots of staff indicating that this is a very busy and systematically ran business. "Systematically" referring to my experience of being shuffled through the somewhat organized system. When my name was called 20 or so minutes later I was taken to a room and sat in the dental chair. Spoke with an assistant and then the dentist came in and he diagnosed and made his recommendations. After that I was taken to another room where the office manager discussed pricing and took payment. She then walked me to a totally different building to get an impression. I ended up in that waiting room for at least an additional 20 minutes when finally my name was called and I thought an impression wouldn't take long and I would be out of there. Not quite. A second Dentist came in to take the impressions but after looking at my X-rays (which the first dentist did an hour earlier before they took a $2,600.00 payment) he concluded that he did not want to go
Through with the procedure because it was risky. So from there I had to go back to the first building and get a reversal of my credit card. This whole process took over 2 hours. I was so disappointed. Why did the first dentist make his recommendation and then take payment just for me to be rejected by a second dentist taking the impression?. What a waste of time. Other than that the staff was friendly and nice.
