  • My friend brought me here to celebrate earning my masters degree and a major birthday. We had a reservation for 5:30 and got the last window table. You cannot reserve a window table specifically, FYI. The view here is definitely amazing. You will be lucky to walk out of here for less than $100/person, but you are definitely paying for the atmosphere as well as good food. We started out with the Seared Kobe ($25) and a sampler platter that had Ichiban, crab cake, and something else. The platter was delicious, and we especially loved the crab cake and ichiban. The seared Kobe was not really my thing. It is a cold, tender, fatty beef, and while the quality was good, it was too salty for my taste. The meal also starts with fresh bread and a delicious chive butter that was amazing. I regret not eating more of the bread. I ordered the stuffed shrimp ($32) for dinner. It was four shrimp with plenty of crab and tasted really delicious. It was one of the best stuffed shrimp meals I have ever eaten. Sadly, our server was SO rude throughout dinner, and I have no idea what her problem was. She tried to rush us through the entire meal. Our appetizer came out 5 minutes after we ordered it, and the entrees about 10 minutes after the appetizer. When the food came out, it wasn't hot, and we didn't have time to eat it before it got cold. The server never came back to the table so we asked a manager to heat it up. He ended up having it remade, which was above and beyond what I expected. But after he did that, she was even ruder throughout our meal. It was fairly off-putting. Luckily, the guy refilling the waters was a gem. The manager did a great job as well and was really nice, but the server was just inappropriate for this kind of place. All in all, aside from our weird server, this is a nice place to come for a celebratory dinner.
