| - Food tastes great. You can tell that there has been love put in it. We have been vegan for 3 years and it's often hard to find good vegan food at restaurants- luckily we live in Southern California so it's not much of an issue here, and luckily Pomegranate didn't disappoint! I got the blueberry streusel french toast which was delicious, but tiny portion! Hubby got the nachos which were really flavourful, and he enjoyed them a lot. He got the turmeric latte- you can definitely tell that it's fresh turmeric, not powdered. Definitely an acquired taste but since we both enjoy turmeric at home, we loved it! I got the jnantik mocha which was amazing. I'm still dreaming about it now, and can't wait to come back to Phoenix to have another one!
We loved the food so much we even got some to go- the seaweed salad and a raw collard wrap. Both were good! I would definitely get the salad again, it was so different to anything I've ever had before.
The only cons are that the food is expensive (maybe foolish of me but I expected prices to be a bit less in Arizona compared to LA since rent, cost of living etc are cheaper), and the portion sizes were kind of small (maybe just what we ordered). But I do understand that the food is organic, non-gmo, etc, which I really appreciate!
Can't wait to come back!
