  • Now I finally understand why there are so many bad reviews for this store on Google. They have single handedly ruined my Bridal experience; they had me in tears in their store and would do nothing to help me... It starts like this: My mom and I walked in on a whim to look at some ideas for dresses. 3 hours later and after trying on 1 particular amazing dress, we figured we found "the one", but with over a year until the wedding we figured we had time to make the dress work in our budget (at a later date). Davids Bridal knew we were on a very strict budget and that we loved the dress. Well they played on our weaknesses and told us that if we bought the dress within 3 days we would save $300 dollars but if we waited the sale would be over... So we left the store in panic that we were going to miss out on a great dress on sale. So after an agonizing 2 days of decision making, we scrambled enough money to put a down payment on the dress. Only later found out that the sale was going on for TWO MORE MONTHS! They lied to us and in the end we didn't have the money to pay off the dress in full in time, so we lost the dress and the $200 deposit. It was heartbreaking... They wouldn't put the $200 towards another, less costly dress... They wouldn't work with us at all. It was truly a sad experience. I will not be working with the David's Bridal Monroeville ever again.
