| - Heard great things about this place, so chose to go there for my birthday dinner. The menu is sort of a "build-your-own" kind of thing, and fortunately we were the only ones there at the time, so we didn't feel rushed. The staff were friendly, but it was very difficult to hear what they were asking us. I had pork shoulder enchiladas, while my husband had the stuffed poblano peppers. Both dishes were tasty, but both were a little too spicy for us. We probably should have asked how spicy these dishes and sauces were when ordering. I tried the Sangria, prepared to be disappointed as I often am with other local establishments, but it was really good. Overall, we both thought Gadzooks was worthy of its name, and we will definitely be back. PS, the pumpkin spice cookies were amazing!!
