  • Great Dane is a great place to gather with friends for some decent beer and amazing apps. The decor is open and promotes groups using the space, and the service is typically pretty fantastic. Their only downfall is that the menu is a bit hit or miss. The WISCONSIN Mac and cheese is great, the burgers were surprisingly average. They also have a DJ on Friday nights, which is awesome if you want to find a "club" experience in Fitchburg, but rather annoying if you are just trying to have drinks with friends. Overall decent, but there's probably better places in Madison.
