| - Went there last weekend for lunch. Crowded, but that's OK with me. A bit "noisy" as others have said, yes, but again, I didn't really mind that. Had the calamari but it came soggy and visibly oily. NOT good. I've had it there some time ago, and it was very nice. I have no idea what is going on. The fish tacos everybody raved about were dry and boring. No real flavor. My friend had the trout. Again, a disappointment. Dry and overcooked with no distinct flavor. I know. I tried it in disbelief, but it wasn't good. The open kitchen can be seen by guests and we also see what's going on there. At a lull in the action a bit later, I saw one of the chef's helpers at the line eating off the line with his bare hands. I'm not kidding. My friend saw it too. There was a handwritten sign just around the kitchen corner from where we were seated that said, "PUSH TROUT". I can see why now. Just a word of advice to the kitchen staff there.....we can HEAR everything you yell out to each other behind the seating area in the kitchen space. It wasn't amusing in the least. If you really want to spend this kind of money on a lunch, do yourself a big favor. Go to Fuego Bistro, Calistro, etc. and see how nice food can be. Enough said. A reluctant two stars at best. Never again.
