  • I have stayed at many hotels on the Strip and Flamingo hotel is by far the WORST in term of cleanliness. Recently I checked into Flamingo hotel for the New Year celebration due to its location and availability. I guess when they remodeled the casino, they forgot to do the same thing to their rooms. When I walked into the room, the stench was horrible (think stale cigar/weed + old damp furniture + extremely dusty ventilation vent + yucky nasty rug) and everything was so old and outdated, that it looks like something you would see at low cost motel back in the 1980". My friends and I literally said "we paid $500 for this shit"? Since we checked in late on New Year eve and we were tired and thinking we wouldn't be spending that much time in the room anyway, we decided to let it be and go have fun. Anyway, when we came back to the room at 3 am, the smell got so bad that we couldn't even sleep. We decided to check out and drove home to sleep. While we were driving, I was shaking my head and just couldn't believe that a major casino would let their rooms be that bad. SMH
