  • This place was the perfect addition to our Vegas experience. My husband had a conference in Las Vegas and we stayed on the strip at the Cromwell. That was a great place to stay in Vegas, but we do not gamble and wanted to get away from the strip and see more of the surrounding area. We did not want to travel too far out of Vegas because our flight home was out of Vegas. El Rancho was only 25 minutes outside of the city, on the way to Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. We couldn't have found a better place! It was like traveling back in time, and in the best way. They have managed to keep the place vintage, but not shabby or run down. We were greeted at check-in by Jan, who was up-beat and accommodating. I felt like she was truly happy to to meet us and would do all she could to make us comfortable. She has a great sense of humor combined with a knowledgeable professional manner. Anna, was at the reception desk in the morning, and she was just as friendly and accommodating. Our room was CLEAN, and spacious. Soft simple decor, clean soft sheets, and the beds were quite comfy. The grounds are pretty, with lovely plants and flower that strategically block views to the parking area. The pool was fantastic! I fell in love with this little gem, I can't wait to come back and bring the rest of my family!
