| - I wish I could give less than 1 star. I have had a very frustrating experience working with the powder room. Luckily I was one of the few people able to get my deposit refunded, however that was no easy task. The reason for this review goes beyond my personal frustration, as it appears they have no showed several brides this wedding season, which is completely unacceptable.
Here's my story... Due to being double booked for my first trial, and canceled on an hour prior to my second trial, I sent an email to the owner addressing my concerns. Her 3 incoherent, defensive, and aggressive responses prompted me into doing more research on this company. I was told by the department of state that they are operating without a license. The owner claims they aren't required to have one. What is also incredibly concerning is that many of the Facebook reviews appear to be from fake accounts. I took the time to look at the profiles associated with her reviews and 75% of them were created the same day the review was made. I posted a similar review on Facebook and she immediately took down all 130 reviews she had on her page. And after another week or so, the Facebook page is gone. I posted a review on wedding wire and 2 minutes later, it was disputed and removed. It's clear that this owner will do anything possible to keep away poor reviews. It took almost 1 month to get my money refunded and I was left scrambling to find another vendor with only a few weeks to spare. I felt the need to say something to ensure more people don't end up in my situation, or worse, like the bride her company no-showed last weekend on her wedding day. Truly disappointing.
