I'd been hearing lots of things about downtown summerlin and I spend a decent amount of time in summerlin so checking this out was a no brainer. I was absolutely shocked at how big this place was. According to the guide I was reading, this place is 105 acres
It's very similar to town square in that it's an outdoor mall and the layout except it's more like an upgraded version. There's regular stores and restaurants and high end places and it also has a personal favorite of mine: Nordstrom Rack. It's still new so everything is still shiny but the aesthetics are wonderful. The feel is very Orange County Laidback and I can definitely see this becoming the new hot spot for locals who don't want to drive all the way to the strip area to enjoy the perks of the strip.
