Babycakes, where have you been all my life?
I heard about the amazing red velvet pancakes from a friend, but I've never been a huge red velvet cake fan. Imagine my excitement when I learned that they had s'more, and carrot cake pancakes. Imagine my excitement double when I saw that they also had white chocolate macademia nut pancakes on their daily specials board.
The pancakes were excellent, and I really thought it couldn't get any better...until I took a bite of the Kalua Pig Eggs Benedict. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the pulled pork, and cabbage were amazing.
My expectations were pretty high, but everything tasted twice as good as it sounded.
The only downside is that the restaurant is really small. There was a 1 hour wait when we got there at 11:30am on Sunday. By 12:30-1pm it slowed down considerably. I will probably just try going later next time.
