I stayed at this hotel as part of a ridiculously cheap vacation package found on Priceline.com. Before you continue reading, I want to let you know this place is not a resort..or even comes close to being one. It's also not a five star hotel or a one star. I've been to both types and I will say this leans toward the nicer spectrum of hotel stays I've had. I'm not going to lie, I had my doubts about this place after seeing a mix of reviews with some mentioning BED BUGS in them. I did a lot of research on yelp and trip advisor. It seemed like management was very responsive and transparent about situations that had happened which I can appreciate so I decided to stay here after reading a lot of positive reviews overall. I will say there didn't appear to be any bed bugs in my room, though on the last day I did see some ants...
Upon arriving, it was very obvious this hotel used to be a motel...the set up is exactly like what you would expect from possibly a one or two star place but the inside of the rooms are three to four star quality. They were very new and modern..had flat screens TV, cool furniture, bright colors, and air conditioning. Our rooms were cleaned every day and parking was easy to find. It was nice to be able to park right outside our room every night.
The pool area was clean and had a lot of chairs for lounging. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. I didn't run into a lot of other guests but I would say I felt safe the entire time I was there.
I definitely think for the amount of money I spent... this place exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a hotel that will wait on you hand and foot..or have Las Vegas style pools...this is NOT FOR YOU. But if you are planning on barely being at a hotel while you explore Arizona, this place is perfect and gets the job done.
