  • Okay PLEASE IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN READ so i came here about 6 months ago I brought my 6 year old son here and the reason I am writing now is because I was already due for my 6 month check up and I was scheduled to go back to them as well as my son too. soooo .. I showed up with him they did a cleaning, X rays and an exam for both of us, so after all that they said I was good my teeth are great all I needed to do soon was get my molars out ok fine .... so when it came to my son they told me that in 6 months they needed to put my child to sleep because he needed to get his teeth filled they literally told me he had cavities in between every tooth!!!!!! And his teeth were starting to rot!!! And that was the reason they gave me why my 6 year old son needed to be put to sleep the next time I came in if anything didn't get any better!!!! They made me feel like a shitty mother I asked my self how was this possible???? I make sure I watch what he eats and that he had a good diet so none of this made any sense to me!!!! I didn't Argue with them I left and I decided to get a second opinion ... my cousin is a dental assistant and she's always had great things to say about the dentist she has worked with for years .... so I decided to pay out of pocket because I have the worst insurance and it gets a little pricey so to begin with that is why I went to absolute dental which my insurance does cover ... So I show up to my appointment we did x rays cleaning and exams ... so what they told me was true about myself I just needed to get my molars taken out ... so he checked out my son and he told me my son had NO CAVITIES HIS TEETH WERE NOT ROTTING AND HE BY NO MEANS NEEDED TO BE PUT TO SLEEP ( which I would never do) I would just allow them to numb my child this is why I didn't go back to absolute dental just the thought of them wanting to put my child to sleep for no absolute reason is TERRIFYING and INHUMANE!!!!! It is all about money for them squeezing as much money they could out of my insurance and not thinking about the consequences that come with puttting a child to sleep for NO REASON SICK SICK SICK!!!!!!! I will never go back I'd rather work my life away pay out of pocket and get honest and safe opinion for the well being of child, I hope this helps!!!!
