I have had this place bookmarked for awhile to try on my next Vegas trip. Located down the strip almost across from Circus Circus, it is a little nostalgic gem among all the grand new hotels and restaurants. From start to finish this place did not disappoint. The inside was eclectic bordering between 60's and 80's vibes; fully of cool neon with a diner type feel. The menu was massive, and so are the portions. We had the shrimp cocktail to start which was delish, with five jumbo shrimp I should have just had a salad after to save room for dessert. But I didn't. My husband ordered the NY strip, I had chicken. Both meals come with salad and the portions were so huge we should have just split a meal . The food was really really great, my chicken was tender and the sauce flavorful. Mashed potatoes were *real* and not sure why since they were just mashed potatoes but SO good.
The drink menu has some interesting and fun cocktails, we ordered a Scorpion which was 2 person cocktail (although I drank 3/4 myself) and it was wonderful. Service throughout was on point.
There are some slot machines in the little lobby area, my husband ended up winning 200 bucks on a nickel machine while we were waiting on an Uber.
I am coming back here, and have probably already told 20 people to go here. I truly hope this strip gem sticks around another 40 years!
