  • Let me start off by saying I have been waiting so long for this place to open here. I always eat at Gen when I go to California and I am extremely happy they opened this location in Arizona. I came in for the 'soft opening' tonight and didn't have the highest of expectations because I knew it was pretty much a trial opening. I waited for about 2 hours and when seated the hostess was extremely friendly and went over the menu with us. Our waiter Kevin was very friendly and efficient. We were helped by a few employees when it came to refills and changing our grills and they were all great! The Brisket and Hawaiian steak are great choices, also the macaroons are great for dessert. Overall the service & food was great and exceeded my expectations. Would definitely recommend to a friend/family.
