  • I love the THRIFTY ICE CREAM and the usually fresh soft cookies. Unfortunately my visit tonight wasn't that great. I always order a ice cream sandwich and 6 cookies. The girl that prepared my order gave me about a half a scoop of ice cream and the smallest cookies available. I probably don't need the calories so I'm okay with the cookies being small because I have 6 more. But they were crunchy, normally they are pretty soft. Maybe because they were the runts of the batch. Now I am big on customer service, engaging in conversation, smiling, and giving a genuine thank you at the register. That didn't happen. I just wasn't impressed tonight, and I brag about this place to all my friends, family and clients, hopefully they have a better experience. If you are a fan of simple ice cream & fresh cookies, I would still give them a try I'm a firm believer that feedback helps make a business better, you don't know what you don't know.
