  • I was referred to Dr. Lowy by my primary care physician and a family member. I made an appt. with Dr. Lowy's office and was greeted very kindly as a new patient. It took some deep thought and consideration to make my decision, to go through with the recommended joint replacement surgery on my big toe. It would be a 4-6 week recovery. I am so very happy I went through with the surgery on Sept. 28th, 2012. I was very nervous prior to surgery, and at each office appointment. Dr. Lowy was extremely kind, reassuring and patient in answering all my many questions. He demonstrated total commitment and excellent communication in caring for me. During my post-op appt. Dr. Lowy gave me the encouragement and support I needed for a healthy recovery. Once again, being very patient in addressing my concerns and questions. I am in my 5th week of recovery and extremely happy with the results. I would also like to mention the helpful, friendly, positive staff who work with Dr. Lowy. I will always highly recommend Dr. Andrew Lowy to anyone who is having foot and ankle problems.
