| - Project Fitness appeared as a new offering through Classpass. First off, I think it's a cool name for a gym and the class titles and descriptions caught my attention as well. They offer Move, Lift, Metcon and Fuel classes. Obviously, they had me at Lift. Drew was the instructor on the night I attended, Tuesday, which is lower body. Class consisted series of squats, sandbag, back, deficit, lunges with more squats, always starting with body weight and then progressing accordingly. Drew explained and demonstrated each exercise before we did them, monitored form throughout and offered alternatives if necessary. Tracking your weights is also encouraged
One of the first things I also noticed about this gym is how welcoming and friendly everyone is, staff and members. It's only been open a couple months but appears to already have a solid membership base and I can see why. I can't speak to the other classes personally yet as I have not tried them but I believe Move is more of a bootcamp style workout while Metcon is Crossfit style. They offer Open Gym if you prefer to workout on your own. Their online schedule has classes starting at 6 am with the latest at 7 pm. They are also offering a free 5-day membership through their website. It's definitely worth checking out!
