This is in regards to their softball fields. The baseball fields are well kept...softball fields, not so much. The first three practices we had, no bases. Thought maybe it was because we were not playing a game, but noticed the baseball fields had bases and there were two practices going on. Infield is completely uneven causing bad hops almost every hit ball. Now, I'm not an idiot, I know bad hops happen, and I've been playing softball for 35years. This may be the worst softball field I've ever played or coached on. Paradise park in the east side was almost better. You'll see the photo below of the irrigation box located maybe 10 feet behind first base that is basically a hole dug into the dirt with a plastic cover over the top, doesn't snap down in place, just sits on top. One of our girls actually stepped on the side of it and was thankfully ok except for some bruising. I fractured my foot and tore a ligament at sunset park playing softball when I stepped into a much smaller hole. I don't know who maintains the fields but they obviously don't care for kids' safety!
