  • It is such a convenience to live next to a nail salon, for when I want to get my nails done or a different type of service I can walk right over for that experience. Unfortunately, my experience going there varies depending on the day, time, who is working and the end results of the service performed. From reading the good and bad reviews, I feel that over all the true experience doesn't make me feel like you are in a salon at all. It doesn't make me feel the pampering that i deserve. Now they did renovated their salon to make it bigger, better and attract more customers but all that glam doesn't seem to bring out the great experiences that customers are supposed to enjoy because the reviews are so-so. They do take appointments, but it seems to override those who walk in, but sometimes if it is totally dead they will take walk ins immediately or if there are a few women waiting they tell those women that they will be with them shortly only to make them wait for their pedi or mani or both. I can estimate that the wait time is around 30 mins or more it depends, but hey they can do both clients at the same time without that spa experience, if you want that then sure go for it and wait for that service if you are determined to get your service done and afterwards feeling disappointed. They find ways to mult-task without spending time with the customer. If you show that you have money by the way you dress and look they may take you in and treat you because they really rely on getting tipped and being paid for the service you asked for. It is really alienating that they speak in their native Vietnamese language, unless you know how to speak the language then you understand what they are saying and if they are talking about you in their language. I am sure if you have that sense of "I think they are talking about me by the way they look at me and look at the work the nail technician is doing, they are probably making fun too" if you have that intuition then if you feel okay by paying your hard earned money to these people that do this to you while giving you service then i guess it doesn't bother you and the entire experience isn't all that great. The nail technicians personally each have their own methods of performing the service. The two middle age females are very good with nails and quick as well, however, they way they file your nails especially if it is acrylic will file the sides slightly rounded giving you a square rounded look so it's not that nice perfect square anymore, they just messed it up for you. If you try to point it out, they will acknowledge but still mess up one or two of your nails. The males, I have yet to try the younger male because I never seem to get him but i always get the older one that wears glasses by the name of Anderson and from someone's post who mentioned about Anderson - He actually will mess up your nails big time, he will also use the drill to sand over your nail and close to the cuticle til it hurts. I have had him a few times and he did a back fill and painted my nails white like i asked him to, but during the process he made one of my fingers bleed and I pointed that out to him but he just nodded and continue to do my nails. The way he did the back fill for my nails ended up lifting to where both of my ring fingers fell off. The next time I got him, he sanded near my cuticle and nail on two fingers on one of my hands and i had to pull away from him because it hurt. He filed my nails, but after that i looked on one hand which looked nice but on the other hand he messed up my thumb and the rest of my fingers on my right hand filing them to a "tamper" look. I was really disappointed and didn't bother to complain because I don't want to be over charged and be haggled by the rest of the nail technicians, it is really not worth the hassle at all. Anderson is really someone i would not recommend anyone should you decided my review is bogus and just go there for service. You should ask for the females to have them do your nails instead and be adamant about it because Anderson is only going to make your cuticle and nail design look like crap. After my last visit, I am not coming back here again, but hey if you feel different then continue to visit this place only because you have the money to flaunt it and they want you because you have money not because they care about your personally.
