Remember that scene in Twilight when the Cullens first walked in the cafeteria and were essentially "introduced" to the audience? That's how I felt when we (8 obnoxious, out-of-place, mob of hungry/alcohol feening Asian girls from So Cal) stormed in this low-key restaurant. Yup, exactly like that, just totally different.
Cliffs notes:
Food: 4 STARS
Dessert: 4 STARS
Service: 3 STARS
Price: $8-9
The key here is the pastry. The filling is really just the vehicle to the warm, puff pastry. I personally ordered the Lamb Vindaloo, which IMO probably was one of the few that didn't belong in a pastry. The potato inside a pastry just doesn't go too well with me. Luckily, I had 7 other girlfriends to free-load...err sample from. The Mexican one was probably my favorite.
Also worth noting is the Apple Pastry topped with Ice Cream. Warm yummy pastry and ice cream combined? Simple, but yummie nonetheless.
Finally...come here during HH if you could. $3.00 Irish Car Bombs. Done.
