  • I had been eye-balling this hotel for a long time since my husband and I started visiting Vegas often and REALLY wanted to like the hotel. But I must say, it was a disappoint. The hotel is gorgeous and very conveniently located connect to the Venetian mall and just a few min walk from the Fashion Show Mall. I had reserved a room with a king size bed, but during check-in we were told they only had queen size bed room available. To be fair, they did provide a room with a view, but I would have much preferred the king size bed after a long flight. The room was spacious when we first stepped in. We wanted to take a bath, but there were clipped nails in the tub! Clearly, the cleaning was not done sufficiently. I understand things happen so I have nothing against them but wish we did not have to see that. The walls are also super thin, you can hear people walking, slamming doors, and even running at times. This hotel is a 5-star hotel, but felt more like a 3-4start hotel at the most. If you are looking for a luxurious type feeling hotel, head over to Encore by Wynn. The price is comparable but the rooms are much nicer and the walls are not as thin as the Palazzo.
