  • DO NOT GO HERE! My sister goes to this office and she referred me here when I moved to AZ. I was referred to stephanie K but got scheduled with Laura Snieder who I think is a recent graduate from dental school. I came for my first visit and was told I needed a deep cleaning and scaling, which I got that day. For 1 hour of work by a hygienist they charged me $1600. Now it looks like the scaling "didn't take" and I need to see a periodontist. They told me I needed 2 crowns and a few fillings and they referred me to a periodontist for an implant which I actually do need. The crowns and filling there are crazy expensive, and at the end of it all, I had about $12,000 in dental expense.(They charge $1800 for the crowns). I get regular checkups and I was shocked to have this kind of visit. I called the office and said I wanting to see Stephanie K who was the dds I actually got referred to in the first place. She met with me for a second opinion and gave me a completely different exam, don't need caps but I needed lots of fillings and they are expensive. One tooth needed 2 fillings and they were $800 to fill, the other dentist said it needed a cap so I guess I should be happy. She found other teeth that needed filling due to "fractures". Why 2 totally different exams at the same office?? I decided to get a second opinion at a dentist near my house in scottsdale, not sure I can name it but it is a modern dentist office,,, At that office I was seen for free. I was told the prices were crazy that Stephanie K was charging and I don't need any of that work. He said that I had 2 "hairline fractures" that would be heroic to fill, stephanie K wanted $650 for that. He also said I just don't need the crowns. Unfortunately, I will be losing one of those teeth due to bone loss, but he said capping it would be throwing away money. My husband was also seen that day and they were selling to him the whole time, trying to get him to get expensive whitening and mouth guards he doesn't need. Both of us said we aren't going back there. Save yourself a ton of unnecessary work and money and go somewhere else. These people should lose their licenses.
