The place is lovely and the views are breath taking!
The rooms - very pleasant, well-lit, and ours had a patio with 2 chairs that opened to a courtyard!! The beds were comfortable with comfy pillows of all shapes and sizes. Slept like a baby here. Also, the bathroom had a bath and a shower with really great aloe Vera shampoo and conditioner. They also gave you lavender scented oil as pre-sleep aromatherapy! If you're SPG status, they also give you a complimentary gift bag upon check in with water and some other treats!
The conference center - It was very cute, probably enough to accommodate small to mid-size meetings! The rooms were big and the AV staff were great in helping with the conference talks the attendees like myself gave.
The patios/outdoors - there are palm trees galore! Also, the bar area opens to an outdoor reception space (there are several of these) with more seating and dining! These are right next to the golf course and so fun to look out from. They also have a bagpipe player in the evenings playing melodious tunes! Also there is a fire pit for s'mores or whatever you want.
The area - Scottsdale shopping quarter is a walking distance (half a mile) from here with some great shopping and dining options including brunch spots like Snooze or restaurants like True Food Kitchen.
I didn't get to take advantage of some of the amenities like the pool, gym, and the spa, but I heard great things. I do know that the spa is expensive from a friend who checked it out.
Overall, lovely experience! Had a great time staying here while attending a meeting!
