Gross. I'm being generous by giving two stars instead of one. The place was undergoing construction everywhere, with no effort to put up "excuse our mess" walls. Not a good first impression to walk into a loud and unfinished lobby. Stood in check-in line way longer than should have, as the check-in process wasn't well organized.
Then, to find our room? Arrrrgh! The trek to our room through more construction was like walking through a labyrinth at best. I booked two nights at $89 through Priceline.com (prepaid, no refunds) and considered leaving after the first night and just take the loss. However, the room was big and more than adequate - a suite with kitchen, hideaway sofabed, and queen bed in separate room. I gave an extra star and stayed both nights because we ended having a blast at the pool. Workout room is adequate, I used the bike and treadmill which both worked fine.
Elevators are slow and small. Parking is very inconvenient.
There is no daily housekeeping service.
Also, I told them up front after check-in not to try to sell me a timeshare or anything else (I'm always wary of "free gifts"), and they respected my request.
It is a very convenient location if you have an event at the Sport Center of Las Vegas on Sunset.
